2020 Gathering Cancelled

Dear Partners and Friends of the Northwest Community Land Trust Coalition,

It is with great sadness that we have cancelled the Annual NWCLTC Gathering, which was scheduled for May 4-6 in Ashland, Oregon. It is unlikely that we would be able to safely travel before next Fall, and that is when we hope to see you all at the Grounded Solutions Network conference in Minneapolis and/or the Housing Washington conference in Tacoma. Please save the date - we will reconvene in Ashland, OR on May 3-5, 2021!

We will still be hosting the Coalition’s Annual Membership Meeting at 12:15pm PDT, Tuesday May 5. The specific details, including conference call numbers, will be provided before April 5. To that end, please don’t forget to renew your membership! Also, we are eager to add homeowners to the Board of Directors, please consider nominating one of your leaseholders.

We will also be looking to have some presentations and conversations via online platforms. This is to keep us from feeling isolated, and also to continue to be responsive to member concerns and wishes. If you have ideas for interim sessions on a virtual platform, please reach out to Katie Ullrich katie@proudground.org or Kim Toskey kim.toskey@comcast.net.

If you were planning to present a session and are interested in staying on the Agenda for next year, please let us know. Otherwise, we will be reaching out to everyone in October/November to get the new sessions set up.

If you had committed to sponsoring the Gathering, please let us know if you are willing to remain as a sponsor for our interim events. We will be adding sponsor logos to all communications and the website in the next week or so.
